About The Artist
Hi, my name is Sara! I'm a 2019 graduate of The College for Creative Studies in Detroit, MI. My favorite thing about photography is the concept of being able to freeze time and light for a single moment and capturing it forever. I also enjoy capturing fleeting moments so they can be cherished forever.
I have been working full time as an Ophthalmic Photographer (eyeball picture taker) since fall of 2019! It is a career path that took me by surprise but I love what I do and am grateful to be using and refining my skills to help people through their ophthalmic medical journeys. For such a small organ, the eyes have so many delicate intricacies that are so fascinating to capture photographically.
Even working full time, I am still available for freelance collaboration projects and any type of portrait session. I am not currently taking on any wedding clients but I am happy to recommend you to anyone of my fantastic wedding photographer friends.
I specialize in photographic story telling, digital retouching, product photography, as well as creative set styling.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, my husband and our dog, Jewels! I also enjoy spending time outdoors communing with nature, especially in a tent :)
